Rosa-guayaba para mamá. Verde-pistacho para mi hermana. ;)
(próxima entrega: bolsos redondos para mamá y hermana)
It´s been very long time since I did a handmade gift...I´m guesing last time probably was a Mother´s day card (o macaroni mosaic) I had to do in school. But this year, hooked to hook as I am, I decided I was going to make my mom´s and sister´s birthday gifts with my own hands. So first I did this lovely "cupcake purse" from AmyGaines so they could use it for store things. As you can see in the picture there 2 sizes: the big one corresponds to the pattern exactly as it is, the small one has little adjusments from the pattern (basically I just eliminated some rounds) and for the drawstrings I used some cute ribbon instead of making them from the yarn itself. I used acrilic yarn for both of them (chunky for the big one, worsted weight for the small one) and #5 hook for big and #4 for small. I wanted to make an even smaller one but I ran out of time...I´ll give it a try as soon as I can.
Guava-pink for mom. Pistachio-green for sis.
