On Sunday Lupe used for the first time her new handmade sweater. I didn’t used any pattern, I took an old one and just figure it out. It was pretty simple actually: just 2 rectangles in half double crochet and once they where joined together I made the collar and sleeves using a "crochet rib stitch"(you can see how to make this stitch here, it isn’t as elastic as the knit rib stitch but it works!)
Utilicé lana Katia Austral (50% Merino/50 acrílico) y me encantó!!! es super suave y se teje muy rápido y no está mal de precio (3,20 euros/50g). Creo que la usaré en más proyectos. Usé un ganchillo de 3,25mm.

La ocasión especial para estrenarlo fue la Quedada de perros viajando en Madrid, una especie de manifestación para pedir que permitan el acceso de animales de compañía al metro y otros espacios públicos. Estuvo genial, habían un montón de perros de todos los tamaños y colores, todos juntos dimos un buen paseo por Madrid y terminamos en El Retiro. The special occasion was the "Dog´s meeting travelling through Madrid", it was kind of a rally in which we ask that dogs may be allowed in the subway. It was great. There were so many dogs in all sort of sizes and colours. We took a long walk all together and ended up in the park.
