He forrado un montón de bolardos, árboles, fuentes, bancos, estatuas...pero la verdad no había tejido nada de ropa, así que estas 3 chaquetitas han sido mi primer intento. Lo bueno de las prendas de bebé es que las terminas bastante rápido...¿lo malo? que lo de las tallas y medidas es un misterio (por lo menos para mi). Estas tres chaquetitas las hice antes de que naciera Jara (y por lo tanto ni siquiera sabía si era niña o niño).
Para la primera seguí este patrón "Bombay Love" utilicé este algodón "Sugar´n cream" tan bonito que me habían regalado, la parte de abajo está hecha con hilo Alabama de Katia (ganchillo de 4mm). La verdad que de las tres esta es la que más me gustó...con las otras la cosa fue empeorando...
Para la segunda seguí una variación del mismo patrón que la anterior pero que tiene la apertura centrada en lugar de tenerla de lado (Patrón AQUI). Para esta utilicé Katia Austral y ganchillo 3.25 mm. Estaba entusiasmada y ya de paso le hice manoplas, patucos y gorro a juego...¡todo en miniatura!...es decir ninguno de los accesorios le sirvió...sólo la chaquetita la pudo usar un par de veces...
Y el tercero fue un completo desastre...me guié por este patrón pero haciendo mi propia versión (¡error!) con unos algodones Katia (no recuerdo el nombre pero están descontinuados) y ganchillo 4mm. Una vez terminada la veía pequeñita...pero no me imaginé que tanto...no se la pude poner ni una sola vez....

Les juro que todo lo medí y comparé con ropita que había comprado y me parecía que hasta le iba a quedar grande...En fin...lo seguiré intentando...a pesar de estos desastres me gusta mucho vestirla (cuando lo logro) con cositas hechas por mi... Por lo menos con los patucos tuve un poco mas de suerte de tres pares pudo usar dos! (el patrón es este que ya he usado)

I've covered a lot of bollards, trees, fountains, benches, statues ... but I hadn´t crochet any clothes, so these 3 baby jackets were my first attempt.
The good thing about baby clothes is that you finish them pretty fast...the bad thing? sizes and measures are a mystery (at least to me).
I crocheted these 3 jackets before Jara was born (so I didn´t know if it was a boy or a girl) .
For the first one I followed this pattern "Bombay Love" and used "Sugar´n cream" yarn for the top and Katia Alabama for the bottom part (with a 4mm hook). This is the one I like best...with the other ones I wasn´t so lucky...
For the second I followed a variation of the same pattern (Pattern here) and used Katia Austral yarn and a 3.25mm hook. I was so excited that I made matching baby mittens, booties and hat...but they ended up being too tiny for my baby...she only were the jacket a couple of times...
And the third was a complete disaster...I did my own version of this pattern (big mistake!) and used a pretty thick cotton and a 4mm hook...but once again it was way too small...
I also made a chicken hat with the intention of making some cute pics...I used the small circular loom but....again too small!!!!!
Anyway... I´ll keep trying...I love love love when I get it right and she gets to wear something I made specially for her! At least I was lucky with tha baby booties, I got right 2 out of 3 pairs.
